With the Video Stimulus type you can show a video to the respondents. They can view the video on full screen (e.g. on smartphones and tablets) by tapping on it. For this type no input is expected from the respondents, it is intended just for presenting content.

If you want to use a video in combination with a question where input is expected, use the Add Media functionality available for all types of questions excepting the stimuli types.

To add an Video Stimulus to your questionnaire:

  1. Go to the DESIGN tab and click + in the Pages section

  2. In the question selection dialog, select Video Stimulus and click ADD

  3. Configure the stimulus by uploading the video to be displayed.

The Video Stimulus has following configurable elements:

  • Text: the message you want to communicate to the respondents.

  • Video*: Click on the upload button and select the video you want to display. Following formats are supported: wmv, mpg, webm, ogv, mov, asx, mpeg, mp4, m4v, avi, ogm.
