Ranking

The Ranking question asks respondents to compare items to each other by placing them in order of preference. Depending on the device, respondents can order the items by using drag & drop (Opiria app, smartphones and tablets) or by using the mouse (laptop, pc). In the Analysis section, the average ranking is calculated for each item, allowing to quickly evaluate the most preferred item.

To add a Ranking question to your questionnaire:

1. Go to the DESIGN tab and click + in the Pages section

2. In the question selection dialog, select Ranking and click ADD

3. Configure the question by entering the question text and the items to be sorted.

The Ranking question has following configurable elements:

• Question text*: the question you want to ask your respondents.

• Details: additional information to be communicated to the respondents, like details on how to answer the question. Will be displayed in smaller font than the message text.

• Media: an image or video that will be displayed right below the question text.

• Answer options*: the items to be ranked.

• Multimedia feedback

• Allow to skip question
