Survey and Diary
What is the difference between a survey and a diary
The Opiria Platform is offering two types of questionnaires: survey and diary. Both are made of a set of questions and have different properties regarding the allowed number of answers. Both types can be combined within the same study.
Surveys are mostly used to get the respondents opinion on a specific topic. Depending on the use case, a survey can be answered just one time or multiple times.
Diaries are used for mobile ethnography studies. Respondents can give repeatedly feedback through the Opiria app right in the moment of truth. They can document their experiences while using a product or service on the different touch points of their customer journey. Diaries can be answered multiple times, usually over a longer period of time.
